Young people from Argoed recently took part in a film project working along side the Hub Team and the Arts Development Team at Blackwood Miners Institute.  The young people came together to work with other young people from over the Borough to take part in a film that looks at the issues and effects of gang rivalry and bullying in schools. 

All young people that were involved had the opportunity to take on an acting role in the film, and also work behind the scenes on things such as costume, hair and makeup, production, technical and location.  All the young people had fun and enjoyed the experience as it gave them the opportunity to meet other young people from different areas of the Borough and gave the young people the opportunity to form new relationships.  All the young people involved will shortly be invited to the premiere of the film project in June at Blackwood Miners Institute.

Other Information

The Hub team are also in the process of planning summer schemes for young people aged 11-25.  A scheme for USV will take place on the week of the 11th August, (venues and activities are yet to be confirmed.)  If anyone would like any further information please contact Jodie on 01443 864066 / 07917164308.
