Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations and Caerphilly County Borough Council is once again pleased to invite you to the Annual Funding Day – ‘Speed Funding’ on:

Tuesday 8th July 2008 at Penyrheol Community Centre (CF83 2PG)

You will be able to meet face to face with prospective funders, to talk about your projects and possible funding opportunities.  You will be required to complete a pro-forma and bring this with you on the day, so that the funder is able to see at a glance the type of project you are looking to fund. 

The following funders have confirmed their attendance:

• Big Lottery
• Heritage Lottery
• Biffa
• Children in Need
• Gwent Police Shrievity Fund & Police Property Fund
• Prince’s Trust
• Institute of Fundraising & Comic Relief
• Help a South Wales Child
• Sports Council for Wales
• The Workhouse Chartered Accountants (giving advice on Charity Accounting)

The seminar will begin with registration at 9.45 a.m. and a buffet lunch will be provided.The event will close at approximately 4.00 p.m.  Please see the attached ‘Programme of the Day’ for more information. 

A contribution towards the cost of running this event of £4.00 per person is required.  Cheques should be made payable to Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations.  Please complete the attached booking form and send it with your cheque to the GAVO Office at the above address.
