The Health Challenge Caerphilly County Borough small grant scheme is now open for applications. 

The aim of the grant scheme is to support projects and activities that promote the prevention of ill health and reduce health inequalities through a partnership approach. There are 9 priority themes : 1) Accident and Injury 2) Nutrition 3) Physical Activity 4) Healthy Schools 5) Healthy Workplaces 6) Tobacco Control 7) Sexual Health 8) Mental Health and Well Being 9) Healthy Communities.

Projects can apply for up to £5000, for 1 year. Project(s) can be new or new developments on existing projects. Applications are welcome that show innovative approaches to tackling poor health, particularly activities that will help to prevent people becoming ill or unhealthy in the first place.
