FREE Training – Developing your audience for shows and events
In order for groups to maximise their revenue and increase audiences for events, Arts Development & Blackwood Miners’ Institute would like to offer training support in these areas.
Areas covered will include:
- How do write a basic press release
- Developing a database of contacts
- Other marketing tools to promote an event at a local level
- Using the Night Out scheme to put on shows
The ‘free’ sessions are available to community groups at Blackwood Miners’ Institute on November 13th from 6pm to 8pm and will be facilitated by an expert in the field of marketing and event planning.
There will also be an opportunity for groups to learn about how they can put on live entertainment under the ‘Night Out Scheme’ run by CCBC in Conjunction with the Arts Council.
