Caerphilly Arts Development will be running a training scheme for community artists in any art form. Part of the training will be for the artists (in groups of 5 - 6) to devise and run their own project where they have to develop a project in partnership with a community group

Arts development will then give each group of artists a budget to use in running the project (approximately £2.5K per group if we are satisfied with their project proposal) which may need further development from our side. We will also be encouraging them to apply for additional external funding if needed.

Are there any community groups that may like to be involved please get in touch?

For example, the project could be issue based to fit in with a local agenda or action point in a partnership plan, or just be a series of taster sessions in various art forms that lead to longer term work.
